How to export XML and CSV and import coded events in TacticalSnap
Video coming soonThe steps below are the full narration of this video.

In short

Open Studio on a frozen frame and tap Export XML: every event the scan found, with its time and type, is written as a Sportscode XML file, ready to save to Files or to send to the analyst. Export CSV writes the same events as a spreadsheet for Excel, Numbers or Sheets. Import XML goes the other way: pick a coded file from Files and its events land on this match's timeline next to the ones the scan found. Nothing leaves your device unless you share it. iPhone and iPad.

Step by step

  1. Export XML

In Studio, the Export XML tile writes every event the scan found, with its time and type, as a Sportscode XML file, ready to save to Files or to send to the analyst.

On screen: Studio → Export XML: the detected events as a Sportscode XML file. Save to Files or share.

  2. Export CSV

The CSV export tile writes the same events as a spreadsheet, so they open in Excel, Numbers or Sheets, and you can count and sort them any way you like.

On screen: Export CSV: the same events as a spreadsheet, for Excel, Numbers or Sheets.

  3. Import XML

Import XML goes the other way. Pick a coded file from Files, and its events land on this match's timeline next to the ones the scan found. Nothing leaves your device unless you share it.

On screen: Import XML: load coded events from Files, and they appear on the timeline.
