In short
The gear in the library opens Settings. Your subscription sits on top; under it you pick the sport, football or American football, and the match format every new project and board starts with — eleven, nine, seven or five a side. Language changes the app right there, no trip to the phone's settings; notifications and haptics have their own switches. Help replays the first-run tour, opens the how-to videos and sends a diagnostics report with no video in it. About holds the rating prompt, a share link, and the privacy policy and terms, which open inside the app. iPhone and iPad.
Step by step
Sport and format
The gear in the library opens Settings. Your subscription sits on top. Under it you pick the sport, football or American football, and the match format every new project and board starts with: eleven, nine, seven or five a side.
On screen: Gear → Settings. Subscription on top, then the sport and the match format for new projects.
Language and haptics
Language changes the app right here, no trip to the phone's settings. Notifications and haptics have their own switches, and the taps stop buzzing the moment you turn them off.
On screen: Language changes the app in place, no trip to the phone's settings. Haptics on or off.
Help
Help plays the first-run tour again, opens these tutorial videos, and sends a diagnostics report when something looks wrong: device, version and scan numbers. Your video never leaves the phone.
On screen: Replay the tour, open the how-to videos, or send a diagnostics report with no video in it.
About
About holds the button to rate the app, a share link, and the privacy policy and terms, which open inside the app. That is the whole settings screen: short on purpose.
On screen: Rate, share, privacy policy and terms, all inside the app.
What you need
- An iPhone or iPad with iOS 17 or later (or a Mac).
- TacticalSnap from the App Store. It is free to download and every analysis tool is free.
- A match video in Photos or Files. Any camera works, even a phone on the touchline.
Try it on your own footage
TacticalSnap runs the whole loop on an iPhone or iPad, on the device. Analysing is free and unlimited; exporting video is the only paid step.
