How to use the Tactical Board and Hand-Drawn mode in TacticalSnap
Video coming soonThe steps below are the full narration of this video.

In short

Open Studio on a frozen frame and tap Tactical Board: the frame is redrawn as a 2D board from above, with every player the scan found placed where they stood. Draw sketches the move on the clean pitch without the camera angle in the way, and the share button sends the board as an image. Hand-Drawn mode keeps the real frame and puts Run, Pass, Line and Zone on the left and the colours on the right, so the drawing looks like a marker on a whiteboard. Everything records into the clip and stays on your device. iPhone and iPad.

Step by step

  1. Frame to board

Open Studio and tap Tactical Board. The frozen frame is drawn again as a flat board, seen from above, with every player the scan found standing where they stood.

On screen: Studio → Tactical Board: the frozen frame redrawn as a 2D board, every player on it.

  2. Draw on the board

Next, the Draw chip lets you sketch the move on the clean pitch, without the camera angle in the way. The share button on top sends the board as an image, and the Close button brings you back to the frame.

On screen: Draw: sketch the move on the clean pitch. Share sends the board as an image.

  3. Hand-Drawn mode

Hand-Drawn mode puts the tools on the left and the colours on the right. Pick Run and drag the path, change the colour, pick Pass and drag again. It looks like a marker on a whiteboard, and it records into the clip like everything else.

On screen: Hand-Drawn: Run, Pass, Line and Zone drawn by hand on the frame, in any colour.
