Set the frame up before you record — the line, the space, the first arrow — because whatever is on the frame when you press Rec opens the clip. Press Rec: the timer runs, the microphone is on and you talk the moment through; every mark you draw now lands in the clip at the second you drew it. Set the frame up
Set the frame up before you record: the line, the space, the first arrow. Whatever is on the frame when you press Rec opens the clip.
On screen: Draw first. Whatever is on the frame when you press Rec opens the clip.
Rec and talk
Press Rec. The timer runs, the microphone is on, and you talk the moment through. Every mark you draw now lands in the clip at the second you drew it.
On screen: Rec starts the timer and the microphone. Keep drawing while you talk.
Stop → clip
Press Stop and the take renders into a clip in the background. Go to Export to share it, or stay on the frame and record another one.
On screen: Stop renders the take into a clip in Export, or record another one on the same frame.
What you need
- An iPhone or iPad with iOS 17 or later (or a Mac).
- TacticalSnap from the App Store. It is free to download and every analysis tool is free.
- A match video in Photos or Files. Any camera works, even a phone on the touchline.
Try it on your own footage
