How to draw a plan before kick-off on the TacticalSnap Pre-Match board
Video coming soonThe steps below are the full narration of this video.

In short

Most tactics apps start when the film ends. Pre-Match starts before there is any film: open it from the library and both squads are already lined up on the pitch. Every step keeps its own positions and marks — pick a step and the players glide to where it needs them. Pick run, pass, carry or zone and drag it on the pitch the way you would on a whiteboard; add a step, move the players and draw the next action, and the plan builds itself. Press Record, talk over the board, and export landscape for the meeting or portrait for Reels and TikTok — the pitch is drawn again for each size, so nothing gets cropped. iPhone and iPad.

Step by step

  1. Open Pre-Match

In TacticalSnap, open the Pre-Match board from the library. You need no video: the board is empty and both teams are already lined up.

On screen: Library → Pre-Match. No video needed.

  2. Pick a step

Every step on the left keeps its own positions and its own marks. Pick a step, and the players glide to where that step needs them.

On screen: Each step keeps its own positions and marks.

  3. Draw the move

Pick a tool on the right: a run, a pass, a carry, or a zone. Drag it on the pitch, the way you would on a whiteboard.

On screen: Run, pass, carry, zone — like on a whiteboard.

  4. Add a step

Add a step, move the players where the move takes them, and draw the next action. The plan builds itself step by step.

On screen: Add step, move the players, draw again.

  5. Talk and export

Press Record and speak over the board. Then export: landscape for the meeting, portrait for Reels and TikTok. The board is drawn again for each size, so nothing gets cropped.

On screen: Rec, then export 9:16 for Reels and TikTok.
