- No account and no upload. The footage stays where you filmed it. For youth football, where you are handling video of other people's children, this is not a small point — it removes an entire category of consent and storage question.
- It works with no signal. A touchline, a bus, a plane. Analysis that depends on an upload does not.
- Cost that matches the use. An app price rather than a seasonal contract, which is the difference between analysing and not analysing when nobody is paying you to.

Questions worth asking before you choose
- Who else needs to open this? If the answer is "several staff, regularly", you want a platform. If it is "I make a clip and send it", you do not.
- Where does the footage live afterwards? Decide this deliberately rather than discovering it in April.
- Is the analysis automatic or manual? Manual tagging is the hidden cost in any tool. Ask how much you have to mark up by hand before you get anything back.
- Does it run on what you already own? Hardware requirements are the real price of a lot of setups.
- What happens to the footage? For youth teams especially, "processed on device" and "uploaded to a server" are materially different answers.
